Binnen de autonome product unit (APU), in productieplant 1, staan we in voor de commerciële productie. Bijkomend is de APU plant 1 verantwoordelijk voor de introductie van nieuwe producten, de zogenaamde ’launch‘ moleculen, toekomstige hoog potentiële Sanofi medicijnen waarbij de Geel site verantwoordelijk is voor de klinische batches, de proces validatie en eventuele toekomstige commerciële manufacturing.
